According to a leaked 2018/2019 Forbes list released HH could be the second richest man in Africa if all his assets and money are declared. Hichilema’s four bank accounts with ZANACO indicate balances of over US$2 Billion.

Who Is Hakainde Hichilema & Networth

Hakainde Hichilema is a Zambian businessman and politician, HH got his wealth through farming and cattle keeping.

Hichilema was born in a village in Monze District in present-day Zambia.

He received a scholarship to study at the University of Zambia and graduated in 1986 with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration. He thereafter pursued an MBA in Finance and Business Strategy at the University of Birmingham  in the United Kingdom.

He is a member of the opposition United Party for National Development.

He is a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Hichilema is a millionaire and the second-largest cattle rancher in Zambia.

his wealth got officially declared in the year 2016. Has over 1 million cattle, ten ranches and 100 farms.

In 2020 alone he was leading with net worth of $70 billion dallars. Forbes stated,

Mr Hichilema has shares in various private companies including Zambezi Sun International Hotels in Livingstone, Pick N Pay, Game Stores, ALS Capital, a bureau de change based in Lusaka, Manda Hill Centre, Zambeef Limited, Anglo-American Corporation and Delloitte, Mukuba mall, kagem mine,East Park Mall and Touche.

He has among many other houses three mansions in South Africa, two in England, three in Lusaka and an office block in Choma.

Mr. Hichilema also is the biggest shareholder the biggest solar plant in South Africa that is supplying power to over 18,000 households.

Hichilema is married to madam Mutinta & together they’ve got three Children Chikonka, Miyanda & Habwela.
